“On the field, Some people want Something special To happen,
others Wish for it to happen, While champions just Make it happen”.
Such was the aura of the founder of Charles’s Wain Academy, Who was fondly
called as “Guruji” by everyone. Late Shri R.C. Bahuguna were the one among
all. He was a post graduate in English literature and completed his B.Ed
thereafter. He gave his thirty five Years of service as a lecturer of
English to the Senior students of S.G.R.R Govt. Inter College, Bhogpur from
where he retired as Principal. His entire life was dedicated in imparting
education to the generations for more than three decades. His father Late
Shri Maya Dutt Bahuguna was also an educationist and an eminent social
worker. The vision of a school for the first time was foreseen by him and
then the dream was generated to his son i.e. our founder Late Shri R.C.
Bahuguna who went through a lot of hardship all through his life and
remained committed to his passion of imparting education even after his
retirement.
He continued his work by converting his dream into reality in the form of a
school. He commenced his efforts to light the lamp of wisdom all around his
native village Bhogpur. His concerted concern found fruit in the year 2001
and it sprouted as a school. “Education is the means to achieve this end –
a tool that helps to kindly and brighten this flame of life”. With this
lofty mission and nobel ideal, the founder of this institution rose from a
humble beginning to shine like a luminous star. He succeeded in his mission
through his relentless hard work. He is a role model for all of us and for
the future generations also. His honesty and delivering hard work towards
his services made him a tough man of high principles. Though his way of
living life was simple but his unleashing methodology of collaborating
spirituality and discipline is an example of being grounded to your moral
values. He was a great personality as a teacher, common man, social worker,
leader among masses, educationist and much more to describe about him as a
great human being. His last words could never be forgotten which depict
love for the students of Charles’s Wain Academy that,
‘’The children are mine
I owe them.’’
He gave us an unforgettle message which would mesmerize everyone of us by
the following words,
‘’Life is not a bried candle. It is a splendid torch that should be made to
glow brightly before passing it over to the approaching generation.’’
